The Theft of Modern Gospel And It’s Music
Yesterday, my wife and I were discussing music; she doesn’t understand why I dislike modern-day Christian music so much it makes me nauseous. It hurts my ears to hear it—truly—because these so-called Christian artists know that songs pointing out wickedness and Elohim’s judgment against such people wouldn’t sell records. Why would a record company sign them, spending massively on social media and TV coverage, if they can’t generate revenue? This costs money, and music labels are not here to lose it but to profit as any business would.
Profits
To maximize profits and increased their chances to be signed, these artists eliminate biblical subjects in their songs to appeal to the masses, not Elohim’s true remnant—His faithful servants. This is today’s Christian music: commercialized Christianity. We grew up with it, so we barely notice the deception, but scriptures reveal it plainly if we remain in them. Modern Christian music has its own genre and music instrument they pre-approved, rejecting anything that deviates from it. In one of my songs, The Rebuke, I expose these so-called Christian artists and the damage they have cause El seekers through lyric manipulation and grooming.
The Drive
We had this discussion en route to Mod Wash, a car wash with a monthly subscription model. I believe modern Christian music has robbed believers of Elohim’s full character for too long, entertaining them with personal beliefs and choices rather than scriptural truth. This has gone too far, too long. They assume music must use specific instruments, subjects and focus on emotions and personal struggles, not Elohim’s likes and dislikes, or it’s not “Christian.” Songs deviating from this man-made structure are deemed sinful, or meant to cause division. This is how they groom the congregation in their pagan temples.
False Humility
They focus on what they call positive—saying nice things, elevating emotions—rather than Elohim’s opinions. They think self-deprecation achieves higher spirituality. This is true when we’re sinful, but not when righteous, as when Elohim rebuked Joshua for mourning in the wilderness while in righteousness (Joshua 7:14), when Israel sinned by taking cursed and stolen items, hiding them among their own. Once sin is forgiven, no further sacrifices are needed (Hebrews 10:18). How many leaders know this? Yet, pagan churches offer daily sacrifices (man-made rituals), while ignoring all Ten Commandments.
Why do sinful “Christian artists” sing about Elohim grace instead of privately mourning their transgressions? Do they understand that if they charge for their singing, contrary to scriptures, they can’t expect a reward from Elohim? Are they aware He won’t accept their offerings in their sinful state, let alone speak to them? Do leaders of pagan churches understand this? Their prayers, corrupt preaching, singing, theatrical plays, and banquets—none are accepted until they repent from corrupt teachings, pagan ways and start adhering to the 10 Commandments, including the seventh day Sabbath, which is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
Why?
None of the offerings, or gifts we bring will be accepted as long as we are bathing in sin. Didn’t they learned this in Matthew 5:23? This pattern reveals their ignorance of Elohim’s character. This is why the world’s pagans view Elohim as a tyrant—modern religion’s corrupt teachings and music misrepresent Him. Modern Christian music doesn’t portray the Elohim of older writings or the Messiah’s character in newer ones.
The disconnect is this: modern religion equates self-deprecation with humility while refusing to repent from their sins, a shallow approach. They throw a blanket over everything, never delving into Elohim’s character. The thumb their noses at him and his Messiah. They smirk and roll their eyes to things they do not understand instead of asking questions. They are full of pride and arrogance understanding nothing. I question if they’re even trying to understand Elohim as they would a person, which would yield much better results in their theology and practices, though Elohim is spirit, not flesh.
Genuine Interest
Let me explain with a vivid, relatable analogy. Picture being young, utterly captivated by someone you barely know, their presence a magnet pulling you in. Their smile, their style—it’s electric, stirring your soul. Your senses sharpen, catching every nuance: their voice’s cadence, warm or crisp, becomes a melody you can’t unhear. You study their clothing—a vibrant scarf on Monday, a plain tee on Friday—why those choices? Their shoes—scuffed sneakers or polished shoes—hint at their day’s story. Their hairstyle, shifting with the breeze, becomes an obsession. Their scent—Creed Aventus cologne or Parfums de Marly Delina Eau de Parfum, their daily perfume changing —sparks questions: Why this fragrance today? Their walk—bold or subtle—reveals mood. You catalog their likes—tea over coffee, novels over films—and dislikes—loud crowds or spicy food. Every detail is treasure because your interest burns bright. If you share a school, your focus deepens. Their lunch: a daily turkey sandwich or varied salads—why the change? How they pay—cash, card, or hurried IOU—catches your eye. Their walk to the cafeteria, brisk or leisurely, speaks volumes. You note how they sit—slouched or poised—how they chew, deliberate or distracted, and their smile—radiant or shy—lights your world. You track their classes—do they love history or dread math? Who picks them up—a parent, sibling, or bus number forty-two? Every observation fuels curiosity and raises questions, but the key is genuine, unshakable interest. It’s not forced; it’s a natural spark. Without it, their essence slips away. To draw them closer, you align with their world—mention their favorite book because you thought ahead, and read it, not the movie they dislike. You mirror their passions—art if they love it, avoiding politics and rebuking both parties if they hate politics. You adopt their habits, walking their paths, dressing in their style, until you’re nearly one mind, one rhythm. You imitate them so naturally they must notice, hoping for conversation, connection, perhaps a relationship.
Now, contrast this. If you don’t care to know them but want attention, you might gossip or spread half-truths. You’ll get noticed, but with anger, not your desired affection. Why speak of their likes without studying them? Why not learn their heart to gain favor? Interest fuels curiosity, building true understanding. Without it, you misrepresent them, shouting into the void.

This is the way Yeshua described his relationship with his father,
“So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”

So, so my question to the modern-day church is simply this, why are they not imitating the father as Yeshua imitated him? Why do they profess to follow the Messiah yet refuse to follow his practices? I call it for what it is, ignorance, and hypocrisy bathe in arrogance. Blind dogs, godless corrupt people. Yet, my soul hurts for them. I love them. Elohim has sent them a spirit of stupor because of their rebellion to adhere to the 10 categories. They don’t realize that after they obey the 10 categories, Yeshua will send his spirit to take them deeper into his father‘s spirit. However, they are unable to grasp this truth.
Completely In Shock
This is seeking Elohim’s character. I sought this in modern-day churches, expecting scripture-based talks about His nature. Instead, I found obsession with foreign literature and human authors, praised to a worshipful degree, ignoring Micah 3:11-12 and Matthew 10:8. Catholic, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, and Calvinist churches elevate men over the Spirit, quoting human opinions over scripture—a spiritual cancer. As if it wasn’t enough, a marketplace conveniently place on the path of the doors exit in some pagan churches, at times blocking the exit. These leaders claim they’d stand alone with Elohim, yet preach corrupt doctrine for admiration. Scriptures call them cowards, hiding from truth to avoid exposing sins. They prioritize optics—dress, words, attendance—over knowing Elohim. They believe kindness alone ensures salvation, but the Messiah offended Pharisees righteously, this keeps them confused. They don’t discern when rebuke reflects Elohim’s character. They agree Elohim is kind but deny He requires perfection, rejecting His laws. Without law, how do we distinguish righteousness from unrighteousness? How can they claim sin without a law to define it? They’re silent. Ignorant, unadopted children. They excuse sins, believing protecting sinners earns Elohim’s favor—corrupt thinking doubling their punishment. Some claim a “law of grace,” but Paul spoke of Elohim’s grace, not a law. This is important as there is only one El, one Messiah, and one set of laws.
Righteous Judgment
Now, let me expand on the judge analogy to clarify Elohim’s judgment. Picture a judge in a courtroom, his gavel a symbol of unwavering authority, his rulings rooted in the law’s immutable truth. He’s not swayed by emotions, bribes, or flattery—his sole guide is justice, balanced with mercy but never compromising truth. You stand before him, guilty of breaking a law you didn’t know existed. A just judge, seeing your ignorance, declares, “You violated the law, and you’re guilty. But because you were unaware, I’ll show mercy—not because you’re innocent, for you’re not, nor because I favor you over others, which would be corrupt. I pardon you due to your ignorance, but now you know the law. Go, and break the law no more.” This mercy isn’t leniency; it’s grace, giving you a chance to align with the law. If you transgress again, his judgment falls swiftly—not out of cruelty, but because the law demands accountability once ignorance is dispelled. He doesn’t cherry-pick whom to pardon; that would mock justice. His rulings reflect the law’s clarity, ensuring all are judged equally, with mercy extended only where ignorance applies. This judge embodies Elohim’s character: loving yet just, merciful yet uncompromising. His grace doesn’t erase the law but upholds it, offering forgiveness to the ignorant while holding the informed accountable. This is why Elohim sent Yeshua. Moses’ teachings were corrupted, as prophesied. Those under corrupt doctrine sinned but didn’t know better. Yeshua reset the truth, clarifying Elohim’s character and law. After His teachings, none can claim ignorance (John 9:41). Corrupt churches aren’t pardoned for believing differently—Yeshua’s words are clear. It is impossible to understand differently because of the spirit he sends. You either have the spirit or you do not. Those who know Elohim know who are his true children, and who pretends to be. One must be eager to obey his Ten Commandments for Elohim to send his spirit. Do not let modern day church deceive you through gibberish chatter as proof of the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you, corrupting the book of Acts. Don’t fall for their trickery. These people are godless.
Torah
Modern churches reject Yeshua’s teachings, which restore the Torah’s truth (Acts 15:16). They teach perverse doctrine, like modern Pharisees, and will face judgment when Yeshua returns in Elohim’s glory—His character and laws (Matthew 7:21-23). Only religious leaders, not pagans, prophesy or perform miracles in His name, yet live lawlessly. This angers me about modern Christian music: artists feign humility, hiding Elohim’s full character to portray half of his image to make more money. They claim to have read the Psalms but ignore its teachings on sin and consequences just to gain a crowd. The church rejects songs condemning sin and hypocrisy, deeming them improper, or even sinful by their man-made doctrine. No wonder Elohim remains silent. They claimed to know Elohim while he refuses to even speak to them. Liars!
